The organisers of the Azkena Rock Festival have finalised the line-up for the festival’s 24th edition and announced the daily schedule. The event will take place in Mendizabala, Vitoria-Gasteiz, from 18 to 20 June.
The synthwave of French artist Carpenter Brut, the blues of veteran Robert Finley and the garage rock of Madrid-based trio Black Maracas have been added to the line-up, joining The Hives, Alice Cooper and Social Distortion, who were announced earlier.
As for the day-by-day line-up, Thursday will feature The Hives, Imelda May, DeWolff and Robert Finley. Friday 19 will see Alice Cooper, Sugar (who are making their first Spanish appearance since 1993), Counting Crows and Evaristo take to the stage. Saturday’s closing line-up will feature Social Distortion, Carpenter Brut, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Alcalá Norte, Sleaford Mods, Superchunk and Therapy?, making it undoubtedly the strongest day.
Various types of festival pass (General, Gaztea and Cuadrilla) are still available to purchase on the festival’s official website, alongside single-day tickets. These are available at promotional prices until 12:00 noon on Friday 13 March: €50 for Thursday, and €65 for Friday and Saturday (excluding booking fees).
