In keeping with their tradition of announcing new acts each month, the organisers of the Azkena Rock Festival 2026 have just added nine new names to the line-up. These join Alice Cooper, Social Distortion and Sleaford Mods, who were among those confirmed in the October announcement.
The headline act in this latest batch of confirmations is the Swedish band The Hives, who are returning to Vitoria-Gasteiz to present their brand-new album, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives (2025). They will be joined by two legendary 1990s bands, Counting Crows and Superchunk, as well as the Spanish band Alcalá Norte and the Dutch psychedelic band DeWolff. The rest of the confirmed line-up includes The Temperance Movement, Hällas, Vandoliers, and Lepora.
General season tickets are still on sale at a promotional price of €160 (+ booking fee) on the festival’s official website until Tuesday 3 February at 10:00 am. The Bono Gaztea (for under-24s) is priced at €100 (+ booking fee), whilst the Bono Cuadrilla (a pack of five tickets for groups of friends, with a sixth ticket free) costs €117 (+ booking fee). Please note that, as in previous years, under-14s can enter for free.
