Following the announcement in late December that it would be a highlight of Barcelona’s summer, the team behind The Project officially launched the BARTS Festival at a press conference today. The event also saw the announcement of eight new acts to be added to the line-up.
The latest wave of confirmed acts includes two particularly noteworthy performances: Rubén Blades of Panama and LP of the USA,who, alongside Gipsy Kings feat. Nicolás Reyes, Shinova, Babasónicos, Judith Hill, Los Manolos (who, in fact, performed a live set at the press conference) and Silvestre y la Naranja join an illustrious list of artists, including ZZ Top, BEAT, Belle and Sebastian and Biffy Clyro, who have been announced previously.
