The organisers of the Azkena Rock Festival have begun announcing the line-up for the 2026 edition, starting with a first batch of confirmations that reaffirm the festival’s long-standing focus on classic rock, punk, Americana, and hard rock.
The first major headliner announced for this year’s festival is Alice Cooper, who will be returning to Vitoria-Gasteiz for the first time in seventeen years. He will be joined by Social Distortion, an American punk rock & roll band led by Mike Ness, who have been performing since 1978.
They will be joined by Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Sleaford Mods, Evaristo, Sugar, Imelda May and many more. This brings the total number of acts in the first wave to 21, which is sure to delight loyal fans of one of Spain’s longest-running summer festivals.
Tickets for the festival, which will take place from 18 to 20 June at Mendizabala in Vitoria-Gasteiz, will go on sale at 10.00 am on Tuesday 4 November on the festival’s official website. However, an exclusive pre-sale for previous Azkena Rock Fest attendees will open at the same time on Wednesday 29 November.
