One of the best live bands in recent years, the Australian group Amyl and the Sniffers, have just announced a European tour to promote their latest album, Cartoon Darkness (2024). They will be playing two concerts in Spain as part of the tour.
The tour will begin in Trieste, Italy, on 7 August. After visiting Zagreb, Croatia; Katowice, Poland; Oslo, Norway; Copenhagen, Denmark; and the Paredes de Coura Festival, Portugal, it will arrive at the Capitol venue in Santiago de Compostela on 16 August. Then, on 18 August, it will be at the Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona. The tour will conclude on 25 August in Dublin, Ireland, following a stop in London, England.
Tickets for the Barcelona concert of the band fronted by Amy Taylor, who made a great impression on us at Primavera Sound 2024 months before the release of their latest album, will go on sale at €32 (+ booking fee) on Fever on Thursday 27 November at 10:00. Tickets for the Santiago concert will be available to purchase on the Capitol venue’s website from Friday 28 November.
