This morning, the organisers of Sónar revealed the first batch of acts for the festival’s 34th edition, which will take place from 17 to 19 June. The festival is returning to its roots: Sónar by Day will take place on the seafront in central Barcelona — the exact location is yet to be confirmed — while Sónar by Night will return to its two-night format at the Fira Gran Via on 18 and 19 June. This will feature four stages, unlike the 2026 edition when the entire festival took place at the L’Hospitalet venue.
Topping the first line-up is the most eagerly anticipated comeback: Carl Cox is returning to Sónar for the first time in two decades. He will be joined by Bonobo, who will be presenting his latest album, Distance in Static (2026); Tokischa; Yung Lean; Jessie Ware; Cornelius with Refractions; Peggy Gou; and Romy from The xx, who will be performing as a DJ. We’d highlight the following lesser-known acts: the back-to-back set by Busy P and Girl Ultra; Adriana Lopez’s ‘Suut’ show; the urban set by local artist TK MAMI; and the set by Zaragoza-based Drizzyclare.
Tickets are now on sale on the festival’s official website. The SonarPass, which covers the three daytime sessions and the two evening sessions, starts at €160. The SonarPass VIP and SonarPass+D VIP cost €275 and €300 respectively.
