After enjoying few months ago his eponymous documentary at last In-Edit Festival, Puerto Rican René Pérez (better known for his alter ego Residente) has announced this morning that he will perform in Barcelona in the summer of 2018. The former Calle 13 singer will present his first solo album at Poble Espanyol on 19 July and will return to Barcelona after the great concert he gave at the last Cruilla 2017. Tickets for the concert are now available on Stub Hub with a promotional price of €20 + fees for the first 200 tickets, while the rest will have a prince at 25€…
On the other hand, the documentary we talked about in the first lines of this news is now available on Netflix. It tells the story of the journey that the artist began to demonstrate the world's heterogeneity based on a DNA test, a fact that allows Resident to visit the different countries of origin of his ancestors.
