The full line-up for the Azkena Rock Festival’s 25th anniversary has been announced

The Azkena Rock Festival is gearing up for one of the most important events in its history. The Vitoria-based festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary from 17 to 19 June 2027 at its regular venue in Mendizabala. The organisers are aiming to repeat and surpass the resounding success of last year’s event, which set the bar extremely high and confirmed that this historic rock festival is in excellent shape.

For this special edition, the organisers have put together an impressive line-up featuring almost sixty artists. The line-up is headlined by legendary and well-established names such as Patti Smith, Bad Religion and Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, all of whom are making exclusive, one-night-only appearances in the country in 2027. They are joined by the controversial Marilyn Manson — it still surprises us that he continues to headline events given his personal history — and the American band Wilco., offering a perfect blend of punk attitude, stadium hard rock and high-flying Americana. We’re really looking forward to seeing the following acts live: the ever-combative Billy Bragg; The Waterboys; Rival Sons; Michael Monroe revisiting the Hanoi Rocks repertoire; and Billy Talent.

Aside from the main acts, the festival once again shows its excellent taste with a wide range of smaller, top-quality performances that have been carefully chosen. Notable acts include the Australians The Drones, the delicate folk and acoustic sounds of the new Strawhouse stage, featuring gems such as Lilly Hiatt or Peter Bruntnell, the garage rock energy of acts like The Southern River Bandor Spanish projects that are as fascinating as the supergroup Gran Cañón (with Carlos Tarque, Leiva and Iván González “Chapo”) and one of our favourites: the Catalans Cala Vento.

Tickets and passes for general admission are now on sale via the official Fever ticketing platform and the festival’s website. Introductory prices start at €150 (+ service fees) for the Early Bird Pass, with the option of adding a commemorative pack for €165 (+ service fees). Special options include the Cuadrilla Pass (six tickets for the price of five at €125 + service fees), the Gaztea Pass for under-24s, and free admission for children under 14 with prior authorisation.
