Following the resounding success of their The Farewell Tourin Valencia, A Coruña, and Bilbao last May, the American band Megadeth will extend their farewell tour of European stages with two major concerts in Spain in 2027.
Dave Mustaine‘s band will be performing at two venues in Spain as part of the Breakout tour. The first will be at the Olympic Arena in Badalona (Barcelona) on 10 April 2027, and the second at the Movistar Arena in Madrid on 12 April 2027, both as part of the European leg of the Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations tour. These will be the second and final dates in Spain, following the live presentation of their latest album, Megadeth(2026).
To mark the occasion, they will be joined by two true metal titans as the opening acts: Black Label Society (Zakk Wylde’s band) and Testament, a thrash metal band. As Mustaine himself has stated: “This isn’t about saying goodbye. It’s about celebrating everything we’ve built together over the last four decades”.
The second part of the tour will begin in Belfast on 9 March 2027. It will consist of 24 concerts at major venues in England, Wales, Scotland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Switzerland and Italy. It will conclude in Lisbon on 13 April, following two concerts in Spain.
Tickets for Spain will be available in a presale on Thursday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m. for buyers of Resurrection Fest 2026 and the 2026 tour. General sales will begin the following day at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7. Both presale and general sales will be available through the official website of Route Resurrection, the concert’s promoter.
