The American soul singer Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed will return to Spain this autumn to present his new album. Getting There (2026)which is due to be published on 11 September and which marks his first studio album since Hits and Misses (2023). Produced by the legendary Swamp Dogg and recorded almost live with his band over ten days at Restoration Sound Studios in Brooklyn, the album features thirteen tracks on which the Massachusetts-born artist continues to move effortlessly between soul, gospel, rhythm and blues, and country. The Barcelona gig will take place on Wednesday 4 November in the Sala Wolf (Carrer dels Almogàvers, 88), and comes a year and a half after his last visit to the city: 27 April 2025, when he celebrated his twentieth anniversary in the business with a concert at the Sala Upload.
And it’s not just a Spanish tour. The comeback is part of a ten-concert European tour which will begin on Thursday 29 October at Sala X in Seville and which, after travelling through half of Spain, it will cross over to the Netherlands to round off the tour with three dates. Following the concert in Seville, he will be in Spain. On 30 October, the show will be performed at the Chango Club in Madrid, followed by a performance the next day at the Teatro Circo in Murcia. On 2 November, the Loco Club in Valencia will host the show, whilst on 3 November, the Dabadaba in Donostia will be the venue. Finally, the tour will come to a close with concerts at the Sala Wolf in Barcelona on 4 November and at the Sala Stereo in Alicante on 5 November..
