Today we’ve known first names for London Calling November 2013, who will be held on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd. Findlay, Ruen Brothers and London Grammar have been confirmed for the biannual showcase festival in Paradiso. The tickets are now in presale via www.paradiso.nl with a costs € 35.00 +fees.
Findlay makes rock closer to The White Stripes or The Kills style, with a lot of distorted vocals, pounding drums and punky guitars. The band already opened on Jake Bugg Tour and they are huge Miles Kane fans. Ruen Brothers has a sixties pop hit sound, with the mixure of melodic guitar riffs of Keith Richards and the delicate vocals of Roy Orbison, but with modern beats. On the other side, London Grammar is a trio from London who make minimalist pop reminiscent, closer to nineties-trip-hop and contemporary mystical pop of The XX.
