From here on, <strong>the show was a roller coaster in a very irregular intermediate part<\/strong>, having as good moments &quot;<em>Barcelona<\/em>&quot; (accompanied by the mastery of <strong>Pau Figueras<\/strong> on guitar), the intimate &quot;<em>Greek Song<\/em>&quot; or the surprise in form of new theme with &quot;<em>The Sword of Damocles<\/em>&quot;, but also expendable moments like &quot;<em>Beauty Mark<\/em>&quot; or &quot;<em>Dinner at Eight<\/em>&quot;, both with an excessively paused rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rufus Wainwright - 2017 Barcelona\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9687\" height=\"533\" src=\"http:\/\/indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Rufus_Wainwright_Barcelona_20172.jpg\" width=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Rufus_Wainwright_Barcelona_20172.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Rufus_Wainwright_Barcelona_20172-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Rufus_Wainwright_Barcelona_20172-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tHowever, the artist had prepared <strong>a grand finale<\/strong> that would start with a chapel version of &quot;<em>Candles<\/em>&quot; in which he could demonstrate all his vocal power, to then receive the general applause with &quot;<em>Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk<\/em>&quot;, perhaps one of the biggest hits of his discography with which he said goodbye for the first time. His return with the awaited encores could not be more satisfying, as he chained at the piano his two best-known songs, the emotional &quot;<em>Going to a Town<\/em>&quot; and that wonder that is his cover of &quot;<em>Hallelujah<\/em>&quot; of his admired and close <strong>Leonard Cohen<\/strong>. When the show seemed to have come to an end, there would still be time to enjoy an incredible and almost tearful interpretation of &quot;<em>Poses<\/em>&quot;, with which <strong>Wainwright<\/strong> ended the concert after a thunderous ovation.
