{"id":5746,"date":"2011-11-22T20:54:43","date_gmt":"2011-11-22T19:54:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indieofilo.com\/?p=5746"},"modified":"2023-09-29T14:05:56","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T12:05:56","slug":"janes-addiction-the-great-escape-artist-2011-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/en\/albums\/janes-addiction-the-great-escape-artist-2011-2","title":{"rendered":"Jane&#8217;s Addiction &#8211; The Great Escape Artist (2011)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n\tWhen in September I listened the advancement of&nbsp;<strong>The Great Escape Artist<\/strong>, my hopes that my beloved Jane&#39;s Addiction came back through the main gate began to fade, with&nbsp;<strong>Strays<\/strong>&nbsp;they already cleared us that evolve not go with them, and with this I do not mean the former is a bad job, but now that I heard this last album I can only think than things can get from bad to worse.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"523\" src=\"http:\/\/janesaddiction.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/the_great_escape_artist.jpg\" width=\"523\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n\tThe group initially formed by&nbsp;<em>Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Eric Avery<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Stephen Perkins<\/em>&nbsp;has attempted to show the best, but&nbsp;several bassist&nbsp;have been through the band until&nbsp;<em>Dave Sitek<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>TV on the Radio<\/strong>&nbsp;replaced Avery. Californians have added more electronic accessories and keyboards to his new job, which has failed that The Great Escape Artist keep esoteric and psychedelic sound that is so characteristic on the band.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n\tPerhaps this album has attractive songs, maybe the have managed to acquire a point of maturity to work together on something new and leave behind the clash of egos Farrell \/ Navarro (I can hardly believe it) but unsure about anything, and that I&#39;ve heard a bunch of times, &quot;End to Lie&quot;
