The organisers of the Catalan festival, which will celebrate its 24th edition <strong>from 3 to 7 June 2026 at its usual venue of the Parc del F\u00f2rum<\/strong>, have returned to a more classic line-up. This combines indie and alternative rock, pop in its various forms, new urban artists, electronic music, and even metal and traditional music. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>main headliners for the 2026 edition<\/strong> are <strong>The Cure<\/strong>, <strong>Doja Cat<\/strong>, <strong>Gorillaz<\/strong> and <strong>The xx<\/strong>. <strong>Massive Attack<\/strong>, <strong>Addison Rae<\/strong> and <strong>My Bloody Valentine<\/strong> will also be performing at the Barcelona festival. Alongside them, we also find more than 150 artists, including <strong>Big Thief<\/strong>, <strong>Slowdive<\/strong>, the return of <strong>Wet Leg<\/strong> and <strong>Lambrini Girls<\/strong> after their incredible concerts last year, as well as <strong>Skrillex<\/strong>, <strong>Peggy Gou<\/strong>, <strong>Mac DeMarco<\/strong>, <strong>Lola Young<\/strong>, <strong>Father John Misty<\/strong> and <strong>Guitarricadelafuente<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As for our recommendations, we cannot overlook the return of two legendary 90s American indie bands, <strong>Rilo Kiley<\/strong> and <strong>Texas Is the Reason<\/strong>. Together with electronic performances by <strong>Overmono<\/strong> and <strong>Panda Bear &amp; Sonic Boom<\/strong>, as well as metal concerts by <strong>Knocked Loose<\/strong> and rap performances by <strong>Little Simz<\/strong>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/en\/gig-reviews\/sonar-2023-17-june-2023-barcelona\">wowed us a couple of years ago at S\u00f3nar<\/a>, these are sure to be highlights of the festival. The metal concert by Knocked Loose and the rap performance by Little Simz are sure to be highlights of the festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, <strong>Primavera Sound 2026<\/strong> reaffirms its dedication to gender equality by presenting one of its most diverse and impressive line-ups to date. Alongside the artists already mentioned, notable additions to the line-up include <strong>Bad Gyal<\/strong>, <strong>Ethel Cain<\/strong>, <strong>PinkPantheress<\/strong>, <strong>Ravyn Lenae<\/strong> and <strong>MARINA<\/strong>. This expansion of female and queer representation in the programme further cements the organisation&#8217;s inclusive management approach in recent years. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In terms of Spanish artists, <strong>Bad Gyal<\/strong> and <strong>Guitarricadelafuente <\/strong>will certainly be performing on the main stages. The festival will also showcase some of the most popular urban artists, including <strong>Rojuu<\/strong>, <strong>Rusowsky<\/strong>, <strong>Barry B<\/strong> and <strong>Ralphie Choo<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <strong>Depresi\u00f3n Sonora, Jimena Amarillo, Somos la Herencia<\/strong> and <strong>Renaldo &amp; Clara<\/strong> will be representing the independent pop-rock scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets for Primavera Sound 2026 are now on sale on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primaverasound.com\/es\/tickets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">festival&#8217;s official website<\/a>.
