Just a few hours after discovering that Kings of Leon had cancelled their entire European tour<\/a> \u2014 including their headline performance at the Mad Cool Festival 2025<\/strong> on Thursday \u2014 the organisers of the Madrid festival moved quickly to announce their replacements.<\/p>\n

British band Muse<\/strong> will headline the first day of the Mad Cool Festival 2025<\/strong>, adding the festival to their European tour and performing what is currently their only confirmed Spanish date. Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard are currently working on a new album, which is rumoured to be ready for late 2025 or early 2026 and will mark their return after Will of the People<\/i> (2022). <\/p>\n

Muse has been announced as part of the Mad Cool Festival 2025<\/strong> line-up, alongside Nine Inch Nails, Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Alanis Morissette<\/strong> and Weezer<\/strong>. The festival will take place from 10 to 12 July at the Iberdrola Music in Villaverde, Madrid.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the festival are now on sale on the official website<\/a> and on Ticketmaster<\/a>. The three-day pass costs \u20ac199 (+ booking fee), while day tickets start at \u20ac89 (+ booking fee).<\/p>\n
