The Japanese band Babymetal<\/strong>, at the forefront of what has been dubbed cute metal, kawaii metal or kawaii core in their mix of j-pop and metal, have just announced a tour of major European venues to present their latest album The Other One<\/em> (2023), following on from the concert that brought them to this year’s Resurrection Fest (2024).<\/p>\n

The European tour, which will feature Poppy and Bambie Thug as support acts, will kick off in Brussels on 10 May and will then visit Hamburg, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Berlin, Krakow, Nuremberg and Zurich. On 25th May they will play Madrid’s Palacio de Vistalegre and the following day, 26th May, they will play Barcelona’s Poble Espanyol<\/strong>, before closing the tour in Paris and London.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the Madrid and Barcelona concerts will go on sale on Friday 25th October at 11:00am on route.resurrectionfest.es<\/a>, although there will be a pre-sale tomorrow Thursday 24th for those who have a Resurrection Fest 2025 season ticket on the same website.<\/p>\n
