The In-Edit<\/strong> music documentary film festival has today confirmed the first 16 titles for its 22nd edition in Barcelona, to be held between 23 October and 3 November 2024 at the Aribau cinemas.<\/p>\n

The 2024 edition will feature documentaries on international artists like Blur<\/strong>, At The Drive-In<\/strong> and Devo<\/strong>, while on the Spanish scene we will see a documentary on Marisol<\/strong> and the Black Metal scene in Barcelona in the 90s.<\/p>\n

The most high-profile documentary in this first batch of confirmations is ‘Blur: Tono The End<\/em>‘, which follows Damorn Albarn<\/strong>‘s band as they record The Ballad of Darren<\/em> (2023) and prepare for the tour and Wembley show to launch it. Other highlights<\/em> include ‘This Is A Film About A Black Keys<\/em>‘, about the duo The Black Keys<\/strong>, and ‘Omar And Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird<\/em>‘, about the friendship that led to the formation of At The Drive-In<\/strong> and The Mars Volta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the other international documentaries are those about Die Antwoord<\/strong>, Simple Minds<\/strong>, Devo<\/strong>, Genesis<\/strong>, The Rolling Stones<\/strong> and singer Luther Vandross<\/strong>. On the other hand, the Spanish proposals have “Marisol, Ll\u00e1mame Pepa<\/em>” as their main attraction, accompanied by “Zeleste: El Recuerdo De Tantas Ocasiones<\/em>” about the mythical Barcelona venue, ‘Blackcelona: Una Historia De Metal Sat\u00e1nico<\/em>‘, ‘Prohibido Ganar Eurovisi\u00f3n<\/em>‘ and ‘Zambra<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

In the absence of the rest of the line-up, which will be expanded over the coming months, tickets for these first confirmations of In-Edit 2024 are already available on the festival’s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
