The Estrella Galicia brewery, which in recent years has supported all kinds of festivals and concerts through the SON Estrella Galicia project, has today announced that the Soundhood Festival<\/strong> will take place in September and October in venues in Madrid, A Coru\u00f1a and Barcelona.<\/p>\n

It will be a multidisciplinary proposal that will include musical performances, comedy shows or events in record and instrument shops, audiovisual projections, new gastronomic proposals, upcycling workshops, plastic collection on beaches or sports activities in the same neighbourhood<\/strong>… all with the aim of “defending the local and supporting cultural communities<\/em>“, according to a press release. <\/p>\n

The first city to host the event is Madrid on the 12th and 13th of September, followed by A Coru\u00f1a on the 17th and 18th of October and Barcelona on the 25th and 26th of October<\/strong>. In the case of Madrid, the 13th will be headlined by locals Alcal\u00e1 Norte<\/strong> at Caf\u00e9 Berl\u00edn, accompanied by Scots Gallus<\/strong> and a session by DJ Hulk. The day before, on Thursday the 12th, clothing store Fresa \u00c1cida will host Yawners<\/strong>, while Fotomat\u00f3n will be the venue for a concert by British band Carsick<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Tickets cost around \u20ac20 (+ booking fee) and are available from DICE<\/a>.<\/p>\n
