\"Alma<\/p>\n

As announced last week by Concert Studio<\/a>, the organisers of the ALMA Festival, the first names of the performers for the Madrid edition of the festival have been announced today. The British band Deep Purple<\/strong>, one of the pioneers of heavy metal and hard rock, Jamie Cullum<\/strong>, Vetusta Morla<\/strong> and Valeria Castro<\/strong> are the first acts to perform at the festival, which will be held in Tierno Galv\u00e1n Park from 30 May to 17 June.<\/p>\n

According to festival director Mart\u00edn P\u00e9rez, each city will have its own eclectic programme, with only two or three names in common. “It won’t be a manufactured festival, we’re going to replicate Barcelona’s boutique model, with one concert a day and a smaller stage for emerging artists. There are 15 dates in a venue capable of holding 7,000 to 9,000 people per day depending on the format of the show (standing, seated or mixed).<\/em>“.<\/p>\n
