On the main stage it was the time for the youngest <strong>Declan McKenna<\/strong>, who without a record published yet (will be released on July 21), achieved that all his compatriots filled up Las Palmas stage. Accompanied by a colorful band, his concert started a bit slow with &#8220;<em>Isombard<\/em>&#8221; as the only notable songs, a fact that did not seem to matter to a public that went crazy as in the last minutes sounded &#8220;<em>The Kids Do not Wanna Come Home<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Humongous<\/em>&#8221; or the summer &#8220;<em>Brazil<\/em>&#8220;. Like his compatriots <strong>Blossoms<\/strong> days ago, <strong>good concert the one they gave for an emerging band<\/strong>, but.. Do they really need that fuss and fervor that turns every group with a couple of hits in the new Beatles? And <strong>that was\u00a0precisely what sounded before an infinitely smaller audience than the young Declan<\/strong> on the Visa stage, focusing their setlist on their two first LPs <em>Hats Off to the Buskers<\/em> (2007) and <em>Which Bitch?<\/em> (2009) and forgetting more recent songs. With a <a href=\"http:\/\/indieofilo.com\/gig-reviews\/cruilla-barcelona-2016-9th-july-2016-parc-del-forum\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">setlist similar to the one they played last year in Cruilla 2016<\/a>, <strong>hits of all their discography were mixed perfectly with songs from their latest album<\/strong> <em>El poeta Halley<\/em> (2016), with a rhythm and quality such that they created a steamroller capable of produce the same atmosphere with \u201c<em>Cuando no me ves<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>Bajo el volc\u00e1n<\/em>\u201d as with the well-known \u201c<em>Algunas plantas<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>Club de fans de John Boy<\/em>\u201d. Tras los peque\u00f1os tropiezos de <em>Velociraptor!<\/em> (2011) y <em>48:13<\/em> (2014), su nuevo disco <em>For Crying Out Loud<\/em> (2017) parece haberles dado alas de nuevo recuperando esa inmediatez de sus inicios, record\u00e1ndonos a aquella banda que nos maravill\u00f3 en su debut en el festival con un show majestuoso con el que cerraron el entonces escenario verde en 2005. <strong>Tras un inicio algo dubitativo<\/strong>, la maquinaria empez\u00f3 a moverse de repente con la concatenaci\u00f3n de \u201c<em>Eez-Eh<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Underdog<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Shoot the Runner<\/em>\u201d y la m\u00e1s reciente \u201c<em>You&#8217;re in Love With a Psycho<\/em>\u201d, <strong>dando el pistoletazo de salida a un concierto totalmente diferente<\/strong>, con un <strong>Sergio Pizzorno<\/strong> mucho m\u00e1s visible. Con seis discos a sus espaldas, <strong>la segunda parte del concierto fue un goteo incansable de hits que nos hicieron disfrutar como cerdos en el barro de 45 minutos geniales<\/strong>, en los que sonaron \u201c<em>Club Foot<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Re\u2010Wired<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Treat<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Empire<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Stevie<\/em>\u201d o \u201c<em>L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)<\/em>\u201d, demostrando entre luces y ritmos electr\u00f3nicos toda la fuerza de la que son capaces la banda de <strong>Tom Meighan<\/strong>. A\u00fan hab\u00eda tiempo de unos bises acelerados que arrancaron con \u201c<em>Comeback Kid<\/em>\u201d, merecedora desde ya de un hueco en los altares de hits de los brit\u00e1nicos con esa trompeta hipn\u00f3tica, para cerrar despu\u00e9s el concierto con \u201c<em>Vlad the Impaler<\/em>\u201d y \u201c<em>Fire<\/em>\u201d, demostrando que <strong>de aquella hornada de new brit de mitad de la d\u00e9cada pasada, Kasabian son la banda que mejor ha envejecido<\/strong>..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After four intense days, this edition of the FIB was to end for us with the concert of the band of Leicester <strong>Kasabian<\/strong>, who before a grown crowd gave a concert full of rhythm and hits. After the small stumbles of <em>Velociraptor!<\/em> (2011) and <em>48:13<\/em> (2014), their new album <em>For Crying Out Loud<\/em> (2017) seems to have given them wings again recovering that immediacy of their beginnings, reminding us to that band that marveled us in its debut at the festival with that majestic show with which they closed the main stage of the festival in 2005. After a <strong>somewhat hesitant start<\/strong>, the machinery began to move suddenly with the concatenation of &#8220;<em>Eez-Eh<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Underdog<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Shoot the Runner<\/em>&#8221; and the most recent &#8220;<em>You&#8217;re in Love With a Psycho<\/em>&#8220;, starting then to a totally different concert, with a much more visible <strong>Sergio Pizzorno<\/strong>. With six records behind them, t<strong>he second part of the concert was a tireless drip of hits that made us enjoy ourselves as pigs in the mud of 45 great minutes<\/strong>, in which they played &#8220;<em>Club Foot<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Re-Wired<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Treat<\/em>&#8221; , &#8220;<em>Empire<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Stevie<\/em>&#8221; or &#8220;LSF (Lost Souls Forever)&#8221;, demonstrating between electronic lights and rhythms all the force of which the band of <strong>Tom Meighan<\/strong> are able. On the musical side, \u00a0t<strong>his will be remembered in years to come as the year of Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong>, although the show of the Americans was not as perfect as expected, <strong>and also for the year in which Spanish band Los Planetas performed on a primetime schedule on the main stage<\/strong>. However, if we had to make a small list of the most outstanding performances for us, <strong>we saved the shows of Biffy Clyro, Kasabian, Slaves<\/strong> or <strong>Bonobo<\/strong>, while <strong>Spanish bands offered a high level<\/strong> of the hand of <strong>Viva Suecia<\/strong>, <strong>Belako<\/strong>, <strong>Joe Crep\u00fasculo<\/strong> or <strong>Love of Lesbian<\/strong>, although the great winner was undoubtedly <strong>Mala Rodriguez<\/strong> with a superlative concert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After Red Hot Chili Peppers earthquake, FIB 2017 came to an end with a final day in which Kasabian concert stood out, which exerted of perfect headliner, but also stood out the energetic Slaves and where Love of Lesbian shown the high quality of the Spanish scene.
