But few things are impossible for the British artist, which offered a great concert of about two hours before an audience that filled all the way all the seats at the stage located at the entry of the Palau Reial of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sting - Barcelona 2017\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10141\" height=\"533\" src=\"http:\/\/indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Sting-Barcelona_20173.jpg\" width=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Sting-Barcelona_20173.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Sting-Barcelona_20173-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Sting-Barcelona_20173-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tWith a luxurious group of musicians that includes his son <strong>Joe Sumner<\/strong> to choirs, father-son couple <strong>Dominic<\/strong> and <strong>Rufus Miller<\/strong> to guitars or <strong>Josh Freese<\/strong> on drums, the Englishman started his concert recalling songs from <strong>The Police<\/strong> as &quot;<em>Synchronicity I<\/em>&quot; and &quot;<em>Spirits in the Material World<\/em>&quot;, to later delight a mainly adult audience with one of the great hits of his solo discography as &quot;<em>Englishman in New York<\/em>&quot;, making clear from the beginning that the night was going to be a continuous repertoire of great hits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sting 2017 - Barcelona\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-10143\" height=\"533\" src=\"http:\/\/indieofilo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Sting-Barcelona_20175-355x533.jpg\" width=\"355\" \/>So, between some tracks from his last album <em>57th &amp; 9th<\/em> (2016) and classics like &quot;<em>Every Little Thing She does&nbsp;Is Magic<\/em>&quot;, &quot;<em>Fields of Gold<\/em>&quot; or &quot;<em>Shape Of My Heart<\/em>&quot; passed fast a first part of the concert dominated by the accordion rhythms of <strong>Percy Cardona<\/strong> and acoustic guitars, leaving us even some approaches to reggae or blues in some of his best known songs. It would be necessary to wait for &quot;<em>Message in a Bottle<\/em>&quot; so that the concert takes off, as much in the spirits of an audience that finally got up of their seats, as of on the band side, that began to accelerate little by little the basic rhythms of their songs, as happened in the cover that his son did as lead vocal of <strong>David Bowie<\/strong>&#39;s &quot;<em>Ashes to Ashes<\/em>&quot;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tWith that festive atmosphere, <strong>Gordon Sumner<\/strong> appealed all his experience to start chaining songs from <strong>The Police<\/strong> and unleashing the madness in a final 30 minutes apotheosis, where we could enjoy mythical themes like &quot;<em>Walking on the Moon<\/em>&quot;, &quot;<em>So Lonely<\/em>&quot; or &quot; <em>Roxanne<\/em>&quot;, this last one with a change to blues rhythms in the middle of the song that suddenly turned into a small and delicious cover of &ldquo;<em>Ain&#39;t No Sunshine<\/em>&quot; by <strong><em>Bill Withers<\/em><\/strong>.
